The new Lucca Centre of Contemporary Art is located inside Palazzo Boccella, an ancient and prestigious building in the historic centre, just a few steps from the celebrated Piazza Mercato (with the famous column "Madonna dello stellario").

The museum is distributed among five floors, all connected by a staircase in pietra serena and an elevator suitable for disabled people. The principal entrance opens into a room for welcoming visitors with a reception glass desk and two screens informing on current and upcoming exhibitions and events.

The Palazzo Restoration was very important and expensive: it was realized by a private businessman under the supervision of the Superintendence of Lucca. We were proud to have offered our consultancy about the technological systems to meet regulatory requirements for operation.
