Founded in March, 1897, the Misericordia di Borgo a Mozzano has always been active and present during emergencies, with efficient first aid, social services, and telephone response. In collaboration with the Municipality of Borgo a Mozzano, it also offers specialized services in outpatient departments in Borgo a Mozzano and Valdottavo, home services, heartline services, and cooperates with Servizio Sanitatio.
Its historic head office was in Chiesa S. Jacopo, but recently it moved into a nearby building, under the Centro Anziani.
